A Tongan Test and Sevens representative, in 2019 Fetuli played club rugby for Waitohi and then for Tasman development teams. His club form warranted selection in the Tasman Mako squad as an outside back capable of playing centre, wing and fullback and came off the bench in the 2019 Mitre 10 Cup Premiership victory. Fetuli was rewarded with a Crusaders contract for 2019.
