Leicester was a Nelson College star of 2016 & 2017, representing NZ Secondary Schools in both years as well as the NZ Under 20's in France 2018 and Argentina 2019. After 2 appearance for the Mako in 2018, Leicester established himself on the left wing in 2019 making an additional 11 appearances including the Mitre 10 Cup Premiership victory scoring 7 tries. He was equally impressive in 2020 playing in all 12 matches of the NPC campaign, scoring 5 tries. He was rewarded with selection for the South Island and Moana Pacifika teams. He has played for the Crusaders in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
