From Collingwood, Quin is a Nelson College 1st XV captain who represented NZ Under 20's in 2016. He was fast tracked into the Mako starting lineup where his general forward play and lineout leadership makes him a standout. He is a member of the four-peat Crusaders Super Rugby Champions of 2017 ~ 2020. Quin was vice captain in the victorious 2019 Mitre 10 Cup premiership team. His stand out play for the Mako and Crusaders saw him named in the 2020 All Blacks squad.
