A towering lock originally from St Kentigern College, Pari Pari was brought down to Nelson to join the Crusaders Academy and play for Stoke, getting called into the 2016 Mako squad. He was a starting lock in the victorious 2019 NPC Premiership team, however injury kept him out of the 2020 campaign.

His form in 2021 for the Mako over 7 games was outstanding, earning the team's Defender of the Year award, however a major knee injury curtailed his season with the Finals in sight. It has also prevented Pari Pari from playing for the Highlanders in 2022, a team he joined in 2018. He represented the Maori All Blacks in 2018, 2019 & 2020.

A serious knee injury suffered in the 2021 NPC resulted in Pari Pari playing no rugby in 2022. He is set to return for the Highlanders in 2023.
