A Marlborough College player of note, Quentin made his debut for Tasman in 2007 racking up 78 games at hooker over 9 seasons, including a start in the 2013 ITM Cup Championship victory.

He played 100 games in France for the Oyonnax club (2016-2019) before returning home to play again with the Mako in 2020, playing 11 of 12 games including the Premiership Final. Quentin played a further 11 games in 2021 to become just the second Centurion in Mako history (after Mako # 15 Robbie Malneek). Quentin appeared in 8 matches for the Mako in 2022.
