Tasman FPC team named to play Wellington

The Farah Palmer Cup gets underway for our Tasman Mako women with a match v Wellington Pride at Lansdowne Park, Blenheim on Saturday at 1pm. The match will be live-streamed on the Tasman Mako Facebook page.

Mako 2020 Squad Named

Tasman Rugby Union has named a 36 man squad to contest the 2020 Mitre 10 Cup. To be captained by David Havili, the side will again be coached by co-Head Coaches Andrew Goodman and Clarke Dermody with assistance from Shane Christie and Gray Cornelius.

Tasman Mako Faraha Palmer Cup Squad named

The Tasman Mako selectors announced their 2020 squad to contest the Farah Palmer Cup. The Golden Bay Fruit Tasman Mako FPC squad is a balanced one of both youth and experience. Coach Mel Bosman outlined her 3-year vision for the team which is an exciting journey for all involved to embark upon.

Tasman sign Sevu Reece and Mark Telea

Crusaders and All Blacks wing Sevu Reece, and Blues flyer Mark Telea, will play for the provincial champions Tasman this year. CEO Tony Lewis also confirmed midfielder Kieron Fonotia and hooker Quentin MacDonald had returned to New Zealand and would return to the Mako for the 2020 season.

Mel Bosman appointed Tasman Mako FPC Coach

Former Black Fern and seasoned provincial player Mel Bosman will head up a new coaching unit for the Golden Bay Fruit Tasman Mako women in the 2020 Farah Palmer Cup. Mel will lead a team that comprises backs coach Steve Curtis and skills coach Billy Guyton.
